Russian Keyboard Online
Type Russian in Cyrillic on any computer or phone. Click the keys, or type on your own keyboard and the letters come out in Russian.
How to use the Russian keyboard
Click or tap any key to add that character to the text box.
On a computer you can also type on your physical keyboard. The keys follow the standard Russian ЙЦУКЕН layout, so pressing A gives ф and pressing F gives а. The small grey character on a key shows the matching key on a US English keyboard. Untick “Type Russian with my physical keyboard” to go back to your keyboard's normal letters.
When you are done, press Copy and paste the text into an email, a document or a chat. The “Search with” buttons open Google, YouTube, Wikipedia or Google Translate with what you typed.
The Russian alphabet on this keyboard
Russian has 33 letters, more than there are letter keys on an English keyboard, so some sit on punctuation keys: х and ъ to the right of з, ж and э to the right of д, and б and ю after ь.
The letter ё is the top-left key. Shift and Caps give capital letters.
The full stop is the key next to the right Shift, and the comma is Shift with that key. The number sign № is Shift + 3.
